The Greater Dayton Alumni Chapter of Central State University seeks a highly motivated and creative summer social media intern to join our team. The selected intern will promote our events and manage our Facebook and Instagram accounts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media and a strong desire to help promote Central State University to our alumni and the community at large.


  • Creating engaging social media content to promote upcoming events and initiatives.

  • Managing our Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts

  • Tracking social media metrics and analyzing data to improve engagement and reach.

  • Coordinating with other committee and chapter members to ensure that social media content is aligned with overall marketing strategies.

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of events

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Junior or senior at Central State University.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be able to commit to working 15-20 hours per week for the duration of the internship.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and event planning while also contributing to the growth and success of the Greater Dayton Alumni Chapter of Central State University.
